 - Missing periods is the surest symptom of pregnancy. But for people with irregular cycle they cannot take a call on this. 

 - A pregnant woman is likely to feel nauseas any time after 1 week of conceiving.

 - Constipation is also likely to set in with pregnancy. Hormones are released that relax the intestine causing constipation.

 - The breasts and nipples feel tender The release of hormones could also result in mood swings. You could feel emotional or irritable.

 - There is a possibility of spotting as the fertilized egg implants itself on the wall of the uterus and this implantation could cause the spotting. But the color of the spotting is a light pink and not like regular bleeding. 

 - The uterus is also likely to expand a bit causing the cramps.The areola tends to become larger and darker. 

 - Headache, increased basal body temperature and fatique are other actions associated with early pregnancy.

A woman who is trying to get pregnant should start looking after herself before she is pregnant. Alcohol, cigarettes and drugs should be avoided. She should start eating healthy. It is believed that eating folic acid tablets is also a good idea.
